Hiking in the Chama, NM area is the Best in the West!

Is this you in Chama just before returning back to the cozy Victorian to revel in the days' high altitude cross-country skiing adventure?

Chama and the surrounding area is noted for  pristine terrain just up the hill from Chama.
Enjoy a refreshing day on the train or enjoy the wildlife in the area and then return back to The Victorian for a beverage and and a soak in our hot tub to finish a perfect day in the mountains.

Cumbres Pass

If you're looking for a scenic route with some risk to it, try Cumbres Pass. This high mountain pass has an elevation of over 10,000 feet. Cumbres Pass, also known as State Highway 17, is open year round, although conditions may force closures in the winter.
